Areas Of Support

Here are common issues that bring people to therapy, but there are many challenges where Clover Center can help. Contact us today to find out how we can support you.

Stress and Anxiety

We live in a world that can feel like never ending chaos and unprecedented times. Naturally, this can cause anxiety and stress. Maybe you’re also dealing with responsibilities of parenthood, demanding work schedule, and feeling like there is little to no time for yourself and what you need. Maybe the go-tos you used in the past to cope aren’t working so well anymore; therapy can help. With support, empowerment, and effective tools, Clover Center can help equip you to better manage stress, decrease anxiety, and not believe everything you think.

Depression

Anxiety and depression often go hand in hand. Maybe there was a particular event or change that brought about sadness or feeling nothing at all; maybe you find yourself stuck in the loop of “I should be happier..” Depression is a liar and changes the way we think and see the world. If you are feeling alone and find yourself pulling away from others, not doing the things you used to enjoy or maybe they’re not feeling like they used to, or questioning the point of doing anything at all, change is possible. Together we can work together to help decrease the depressive symptoms and build the life you want.

Aging

“No one warned me how hard it is to get old.” Multiple clients have shared this sentiment with me over the years. Aging can bring constant change, which can often be harder and harder to cope with as we age. Maybe you are having to move, experiencing loneliness and isolation, or having to lean on others when you’re used to being the one on whom others lean. Maybe the go-to activities you used to enjoy and used for coping are no longer available due to changes in functioning, mobility, or finances. Therapy can help support you and work toward goals you want for your life. It may look different than it used to, but there can still be joy, beauty, and new memories and experiences.

Grief and Loss

Grief affects every single one of us, yet so often in our society we are not equipped to deal with it and can feel incredibly isolated. There is no “moving on” with grief. There is no timeline or right or wrong way to process the pain of the loss. Grief can present with any significant losses, not just death of a loved one, including loss of a major relationship, loss of a career, or the loss of expectations of what you thought life would look like and reality is much different. Clover Center can help you navigate the new uncomfortable world that grief brings so you are supported, empowered, and do not have to grieve alone.

Navigating Health Challenges

Physical functioning and medical issues greatly affect our mood and mental health. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, chronic illness, or trying to figure out what life will look like as you navigate a new diagnosis, you do not have to deal with this alone. Maybe you need a place to vent and gain support, or maybe you’re looking for some tools for coping and to treat the pain, Clover Center can help.
